The Apex Court has held that:
“Para13. The principle of granting seniority on the basis of weightage of past service and lower service to the category of promoting ( sic promoted ) officers is well known and well recognized in the service jurisprudence.”

It is noticed that the agitation is revived-a good move indeed.
I am to suggest some of the points that could b included in the Charter of Demands/points for discussion.
The issues to be sorted could be codified as per priority in the charter of demands.
I feel it should be
1.Bring parity with Customs supdt in promotion as ACs ie.upto sept,1996 (CEx. supdts are still in 1991);Minimum 2500 persons will be benefitted.We can suggest the vital demand on unorg...Read More
