Our Association Demands the grade pay of Rs.6,600/- in PB-3 for IInd financial up gradation & grade pay of Rs.7,600/- in PB-3 for IIIrd financial up gradation to all the eligible Superintendents of Central Excise under the Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme. A letter in this regards given by our Secretary General

Dear friends,
We got opportunity to see the FM on 21.2.10 with the help of Chandigarh unit. S/Sh. R. Pratap, A.K.Sharma, Subhash Batra (all from Chandigarh), S. Pareek, C.S. Sharma, R. Chhabra & me attended the meeting with Sh. Manish Tewari, MP. Thanx to the Chandigarh unit & Sh.Tewari. FM went through our representation very thoroughly reading every line. He assured us to do the needful asking to have next meeting after budget. Again thanx to Chandigarh unit, Sh. Tewari & all the colleagues who attended the meeting.

National Convention
The 9th National Convention of our Association was held at Kanpur on 22nd and 23rd January 2010. The following were elected as office bearers;

Sri. Sushilkumar Parikh (Jaipur) President
Sri. Ravi Malik (New Delhi) Secretary General

We place on record our appreciation to the Northern regional units who hosted the convention at Kanpur especially Sri R K Nigam (Kanpur) for the excellent arrangements. Hope the vast experience of Shri. Parikhji and the vibrancy of Shri. Ravi will help the Association solve our perennial problems in the near future.

The order was passed on 16th Nov 09 and Department was given 60 days to file their reply as to why fixation from 01.01.96 in CBI scale should not be given. What is the latest position on this? Any progress?

As Unni Sir has suggested, the 'weighll India seniority should be prepared by a Body[consisting 3/5 willing n competant officers, say Unni sir/Loknath sir/Sushi Parikh sir etc. It kerala site to seek comments/feed-back from cadre officers Based on deliberations the above Body can finalize a proposal.....

Modified ACP is effective from 30.08.08. Prior to that during the period 01.01.06 to 30.08.08 old orders relating to ACP were operative. In 2nd financial up gradation in ACP the scale of asst.commissioner was allowed since 1999.
